The Carravalseca wines are the fruit of organic vines, the latest commitment of Bodegas Casa Primicia. This pioneer initiative has given its fruit in a very singular limited edition. These wines proceed from a magical and privileged environment, the Carravalseca Lagoon, a treasure of water and land.
The Lagoon
These are the the most northerly wetlands endorheic lagoons in Europe. These lagoons were formed forty million years ago when the tectonic movements elevated the lands of the Ebro depression then occupied by the sea. therefore, in the summer, when the water evaporates, a saline blanket remains on the Carravalseca wetlands. An estate where organic, botanic and hydrological processes are developed.

Garden among vineyards
There is nothing like walking through these vineyards while observing the beauty of the Carravalseca lagoon, the Cantabria Mountain protection, the distance of the La Demanda Mountains, the proud boat-like silhouette of the Laguardia village… In the garden moved through bushes likes the carrascal, the jara or the strawberry tree, get intoxicated with the fragrances of chamomile, rosemary or thyme, and walk among trees like oaks, carobs, cork oaks… A guided visit allows you to get to know the cultivation process of vines and introduces you to the secrets of organic wines. Days of Wine & Birds
In collaboration with expert birdwatcher Brian Webster, partner with the Spanish Ornithological Society (SOS) and member of the Alavese Nature Institute, you will be able to enjoy the impressive experience of birdwatching among the vineyards at the Carravalseca Lagoon. The “Days of Wine and Birds” experience is complete with a visit to Casa Primicia and a lunch in Carravalseca. Wine, birds, ecology, history… A different adventure, guided by authorized voices and passionate hands.
